This fully programmable rover kit includes a WiFi module and a robotic gripper. It is easily programmed using the Arduino development tools. The WiFi module adds the ability to operate the rover remotely using a WiFi equipped computer and open source Processing.org software. Features include a rocker suspension system allowing the rover to operate on uneven terrain. An IR receiver is included to allow the rover to be controlled by a TV remote control. Full lesson plans can be downloaded from the documents page. The kit includes an IR receiver, ultrasonic range sensor, light sensor, WiFi module and robotic gripper. Simple hand tools are required to assemble. Requires 4 AA batteries.
